  17.    GRADE BOOK POWER (tm) is a copyrighted program distributed as
  18.    SHAREWARE.  All rights are reserved.  You may make 1 copy of this
  19.    program and documentation for a 21 day evaluation.

  21.    If you decide to continue to use this program, you must pay a
  22.    registration fee of $59.00 plus $2.00 shipping/handling.  Checks,
  23.    MasterCard, VISA are accepted.  Purchase orders are accepted from
  24.    schools.  School district and site licenses are available.  To
  25.    order GRADE BOOK POWER, use the order blank that can be printed
  26.    from the pull down menu.

  28.    Registered owners will receive a printed manual, diskette with all
  29.    improvements made since the distribution of the shareware diskette,
  30.    removal of all references to evaluation shareware, notification of
  31.    major updates, and voice telephone support.  GRADE BOOK POWER can
  32.    only be updated and improved when you support my efforts.

  48.  GRADE BOOK POWER allows the use of either two-9 week or 3-6 week terms per
  49.  semester.  Many special options included for both elementary and secondary 
  50.  teachers.  Creates over 30 different reports.  Individual progress reports 
  51.  for students/parents include assignment date, title, points possible, 
  52.  points earned, letter grade, category averages, grading trend, personal & 
  53.  general comments, absences, tardies, and missing assignments, optional 
  54.  parent signature, grade override, weighting, low test throw out option, 
  55.  grading scale, optional semester exam, extra credit, seating charts,  
  56.  detailed attendance and tardy reports.

  58.    QUICK START (for those that don't like to read the manual)
  59.    1. Make a subdirectory called grades  Type MD GRADES and enter.
  60.    2. Change to GRADES subdirectory.     Type CD GRADES and enter.
  61.    3. Copy files to the subdirectory.    Type COPY A:*.* and enter.
  62.    2. Start the program the first time by typing GRADES /INSTALL
  63.    3. Enter Y FOR Yes to start a new school year.
  64.    4. Answer the other four questions when displayed.
  65.       a. Drive (and optional subdirectory) to contain student data
  66.       b. Enter the School Year (like 1995-96)
  67.       c. Enter number of quarters (terms) per semester (2 or 3)
  68.       d. Enter the starting quarter (term) number (1 to 6)
  69.    5. Go to the SET-UP MENU.
  70.    6. Save the Settings on the SET-UP MENU.
  71.    7. Enter your class names on the NAMES MENU.
  72.    8. Enter your student names on the NAMES MENU.
  73.    9. All Menu options are now available.
  74.   10. If you like the program and want to continue using
  75.       GRADE BOOK POWER, you must register and send payment.

  89. Differences between Evaluation and Registered Versions:
  90. The evaluation version allow entry of up to 17 grades per student per 
  91. class.  The registered version allows 60 grades.  The registered version 
  92. may also include additions to this program since the release of this 
  93. evaluation version.

  95. To remove this product from your computer, delete all files in the 
  96. program directory and any files you created in the data subdirectory 
  97. you indicated on initial setup.
